Details

A clean environment where you can see the parts clearly is essential to accurately blast small parts. Effective removal of the very fine micro-abrasives from the workstation requires more than a simple shop vacuum. Only an industrial grade dust collection system can provide appropriate airflow through the work chamber to extract the spent abrasive, as well as the proper filter material to trap the minute particles, returning clean air to the room.

The information below was taken off the internet. It is up to the buyer to verify if info. is correct.

Cloth style dust collectors are freestanding units that do not require special installation. Their compact design includes everything necessary for connection to the back of the workstation

• Reliable and cost-efficient

• Traps 99.9% of particles by volume

• Large capacity dust drawer

• Industrial construction

• Manually-operated filter shaker makes filter cleaning easy

How They Work

The particles are trapped on the outer surface of the filter bags. The clean air passes through the filter and is re-circulated into the room. A manual shaker dislodges dust particles from the filter surfaces and drops them into a drawer. If filter bags are emptied at least once a week, a cloth bag style dust collector from Comco will give years of uninterrupted, trouble free service.

Notes:  We cleaned the DC2100-3 Dust Collector inside and out - We powered it up and, let it run for a while – it sounds very strong – This is a good working unit.
